For our client info@amsterdamprivateboat.com, we were able to convert the third boat. Because the wish was to start this project at short notice, we had to check which engines were in stock. Ideally, a 15kW (intermitted) engine would suffice for this saloon boat, but for stock reasons we opted for a 20kW (intermitted) Bellmarine engine. This engine is allowed to run continuously at 15kW and is more than enough to make this boat very easy to manoeuvre. The 30kWh battery pack guarantees at least 10 hours of continuous sailing.
The 30kWh battery pack is more than enough to last a whole day. At canal speed (6.5 km/h), the consumption of this boat is about 1kW. The battery pack is also used to supply 230V on board via an inverter, which runs the pantry but also the heating in winter.
