The Van Plaggen One 900 is an all-electric 9-metre sloop equipped with a 10 kW Combi EPS Pod and a 20 kWh LiFePO4 battery pack. E-WERF was involved in the project from the very first moment, from the technical design to the complete outfitting from hull. All installations, finishing and the electrical system were provided by us.
What makes this boat special is the way she sails. Despite her length, the One 900 behaves like a compact sloop. She is nimble, highly manoeuvrable and remarkably efficient. Thanks to the clever hull design, the boat glides smoothly through the water with minimal resistance. This results in low power at cruising speed and a long range on a single battery charge.
The sailing characteristics are excellently balanced. The combination of quiet propulsion, direct steering and low energy demand makes this sloop not only durable, but also pleasant and precise to sail.
