E-WERF is the official importer and dealer for Helios Marine in the Netherlands. Through this partnership, we are adding a fully electric new-build boat to our range: the Helios Omega 7.2.
The first Omega 7.2 for the Netherlands has now been ordered. The boat will make its Dutch debut from 2 to 6 September 2026 at HISWA te Water in the Bataviahaven in Lelystad. Visitors will not only be able to view the boat there, but also experience it for themselves during a test sail.
The Helios Omega 7.2 is not an existing petrol-powered boat that has had an electric motor retrofitted. The boat was developed from the very first sketch with electric propulsion in mind.
This meant that the hull, propulsion system, weight distribution, battery position, controls and solar power could all be designed as a single system. This ensures an efficient, quiet and responsive sailing experience, without electric sailing feeling like a compromise.
For E-WERF, this was a key reason for entering into a partnership with Helios Marine. We have been converting existing boats to electric and hybrid propulsion for many years. With the Omega 7.2, we can now also offer a completely new vessel in which all the technical systems are designed for electric propulsion right from the construction stage.
The Omega 7.2 is 7.2 metres long and 2.4 metres wide and can accommodate up to eight people. The spacious cockpit, low step-in height and open layout make the boat ideal for leisurely day trips, whilst the efficient hull and powerful electric drive also enable sporty handling.
Depending on the version chosen, the Omega is available with a 25 or 50 kW electric motor and a range of battery capacities. This allows the boat to be tailored to the desired cruising area, the required speed and day-to-day use.
An integrated solar hardtop with up to 1.55 kWp of solar panels supports the energy system whilst underway and at anchor. Particularly during daytime use and in sunny conditions, this provides extra energy and reduces the need to recharge onshore.
The Helios Omega 7.2 is fitted with the Helios Marine Link. This system collects information on, amongst other things, the battery status, energy consumption, solar yield, charging status and the performance of the propulsion system.
The data is available via an on-board display and can also be viewed remotely. This provides a clear overview of how much energy is available, how efficiently the boat is sailing, and when maintenance or inspection is required.
The combination of the drive system, LFP batteries, solar panels and digital monitoring makes the Omega a fully integrated electric platform rather than a collection of separate components.
Helios Marine develops fully electric boats, propulsion systems, batteries and digital maritime technology. E-WERF brings with it many years of practical experience in the fields of electric propulsion, energy systems and on-board system integration.
As a Dutch importer, E-WERF provides guidance on choosing the model, configuring the drive and battery systems, delivery and technical support. Owners can also contact our yard in Amsterdam for servicing and maintenance.
As a result, Dutch customers gain access not only to an innovative electric boat, but also to local expertise, guidance and support.
The first Helios Omega 7.2 for the Netherlands will be on display from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 September 2026 at HISWA te Water in the Bataviahaven in Lelystad.
During the exhibition, we’d be delighted to tell you more about the various models, battery capacities, charging options and expected performance. You’ll also have the chance to step on board and experience for yourself, during a test sail, just how quiet, responsive and comfortable the Omega 7.2 is to sail.
Would you like to be sure of a test sail or a personal introductory meeting during the exhibition? If so, please contact us in advance. We’d be happy to book a slot for you.
